of the most conventional ways of dispensing information in a university or
corporate office is through the notice board. Notice boards are an ideal
platform that allows one to put up information so that anyone can view. This
project deals with smart way of creation of the notice through speech. Talking
is easier than typing or writing, this project bestows a platform where in the
contents to the notice can be given by speech. The speech to text conversion
technique is used to extract the text from the speech.
A general format of the
notice is created as a template, the contents are stitched with this format and
the final notice is displayed. The project also provides a secure application
for creating notices. Maintainability, reliability and centralization are all
other features in the project designed.

A bulletin board (Pin board, pin board, noticeboard or notice
board) is a surface intended for the posting of public messages, for example,
to advertise items wanted or for sale, announce events, or provide information.
Bulletin boards are often made of a material such as cork to facilitate
addition and removal of messages, as well as a writing surface such as
blackboard or whiteboard. A bulletin board which combines a Pin board
(corkboard) and writing surface is known as a combination bulletin board.
Bulletin boards can also be entirely in the digital domain
and placed on computer networks so people can leave and erase messages for
other people to read and see, as in a bulletin board system.
Bulletin boards are particularly prevalent at universities.
They are used by many sports groups and extracurricular groups and anything
from local shops to official notices. Dormitory corridors, well trafficked
hallways, lobbies, and freestanding kiosks often have cork boards attached to
facilitate the posting of notices. At some universities, lampposts, bollards,
trees, and walls often become impromptu posting sites in areas where official
boards are sparse in number.
The project tries to build a pavement towards the path of
digitization by providing an interface for a new way of making notices without
the use of keyboard with a more secure and friendly environment.
II. Existing System
A. Near Field Application: NFC Smart Notice Board
One of the
conventional ways of dispersing information in a university or corporate office
is through the Notice Board. Notice boards are an ideal platform that allows
one to put up information so that it can be seen by everyone. Whenever there is
a new circular to be dispersed among the students or employees, it will be
immediately put up on the notice board where everyone has to manually gather at
the board and look into the notice. In the busy and fast-moving world today,
this will lead to wastage of time. Instead, this paper provides a solution to
the above problem using NFC application. The idea that has been proposed in
this paper is to display the notice board through NFC tags. Each NFC tag is
programmed to contain the notice information to display. Whenever it is
required for a circular to be displayed just program (Update the Notice) the
NFC tag. The students, employees etc., can scan the NFC tag through their NFC
enabled smart phones which downloads the notice in the document format online
into their handheld devices. This solution is user-friendly as the end-user can
read the notices at their own convenient time in turn leads no wastage of time.

day to day is a tedious process. This project deals with advanced notice board.
It presents an SMS based notice board incorporating the widely used GSM to
facilitate the communication of Digital notices using voice to text conversion displaying
message on noticeboard via user’s mobile phone. Its operation is based on
microcontroller AT89c52 programmed in assembly language. A SIM300 GSM modem
with a SIM card is interfaced to the ports of the microcontroller with the help
of AT commands. When the user sends a SMS via a registered number from his
mobile phone, it is received by SIM300 GSM modem at the receiver’s end. SIM300
is duly interfaced to the microcontroller. The messaged is thus fetched into
the microcontroller. It is further displayed on an electronic notice board
which equipped with LCD display interfaced to microprocessor powered by a
regulated power supply from mains.
III. Proposed System
The Proposed system is to build a software application for
the creation of notices using the help of voice to content conversion that
enables a smarter and efficient way. The proposed system also aims in providing
a secure way for the creation of notices in order to avoid the articulation of

and circulation of notices can be reduced by the usage of this application.
Every institute, organization or universities have this inevitable factor that
is carried in the conventional way from the day it was started. The project has
satisfactorily paved a way to break this conventional way by providing an
innovative and simpler application for the purpose.
