Russ Ruffino is the founder and CEO of Clients on Demand. In 2001, he graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree. Before starting his company, Russ was a bartender for ten years so he could support his financial needs. At the age of thirty-one, he resigned from his job as a bartender with only $500 in his bank account and decided to pursue online marketing to make money. If the company keeps growing like this the company would generate billions of dollars soon.


In the beginning, when Russ first launched his product it was a huge success in the market which I believe was because of his providence. After the success of the first product it gave Russ confidence which he needed and from there on I believe he made all his decisions based on his intuition which helped his company to grow. So, I would say his luck helped him in the beginning and his intuitions to make right decisions helped him and his company to grow at a much faster pace.

One of the important lessons I have learned from this research is that to be successful in life, one should think outside the box and come up with new and creative ideas. Additionally, I also learned that online marketing is taking over the world and to be successful in it one should come up with unique techniques to serve their clients better like Russ Ruffino. Lastly, Russ’s decision of switching from selling products to providing services to his clients shows that maintaining and building healthy relationships with the clients is more important and profitable than just selling products to them. This means an entrepreneur should always value their clients more than the product itself.
